My Girly Post...Because I want to look Cute!

“I’d much rather be a woman than a man. Women can cry, they can wear cute clothes, and they're the first to be rescued off sinking ships” Gilda Radner

A quick post here about 2 Arbonne products that Shannon (So Cal Women of Arbonne) talked me into trying and that I actually love using, The Primer and The Personalizer Oil-Absorbing Powder. My skin is fickle, I have to be very careful about what I use or my face revolts….and let me tell you it is not pretty. One thing that drives me crazy is how oily my face gets, now everyone tells me it is a great thing because I will stay young looking longer, but let me tell you when every picture you take comes back with a shiny face it gets annoying.

Shannon got me to try the Primer by making me try it on my hand and though that is how they do it everywhere, the result was awesome. The Primer makes your skin feel like silk. I couldn’t stop touching my hand, it was just so soft and smooth, so I bought it. It is the first thing I put on after washing my face in the morning. I don’t have a lot of wrinkles just yet…..thank you oil, but the little “laugh” line that I do have smooth out nicely with this product. On top of all of that it hasn’t caused me to break out, which most things do. I think I may try their foundation next, I was very nervous about it, but I think if they are used together my skin will look Great!! I will let you know how it goes.

Next Shannon told me I had to try this oil –absorbing powder that they have, yes she noticed how often I have to blot and told me the thing about staying young. When she told me to try it I was pretty skeptical. I am always willing to try something new but I have tried everything to help with the oil and nothing ever works. I also didn’t want to add even more to my morning regimen or another product on my face. I like to look good but I keep it pretty minimal, after my cleansing ritual, toner, moisturizer, mineral powder, blush, eye shadow, mascara, and lip gloss that’s it. Now she wanted me to put the primer in there and this powder, the first day I used it I thought that I could put it on in the morning and then I would be good all day. A little naive on my part, but I was afraid to keep applying it during the day, but Shannon swore to me it wouldn’t cake or clog. Now I put it on the morning and I re-apply in the afternoon and maybe once in the evening if I go for those happy hour cocktails after work. So three times compared to my constant blotting efforts of the past, choice is pretty much a given here.

Now no one is paying me to tell you all of this and I do not make any money if you buy these products, I just like to talk about things I enjoy, and I really like these products. I also need to throw in a disclaimer that I don’t know anything about skin care so if you have questions about your skin or the Arbonne products contact Shannon she’ll help you out.
